I’ve been trying to write my book for 2 years now. I wrote 500 pages, and then realized I wrote it completely wrong. The part that’s hard is that around page 200 I knew I was writing it wrong, but was too stubborn to restart. Then I finally accepted it, and restarted. I lost a year and a half of time writing because I was too stubborn to admit I was wrong. For anyone reading this, if you’re feeling the same way as me about your book, it’s okay to be wrong. You made a bad call, chalk it up and get going. Don’t write an addition 300 pages. If I would have just restarted when I knew I should have, I’d almost be done with the sequel by now. Leave your pride at the door, and just listen to yourself.

I was transitioning from third to fourth grade, and that summer was quite long, not only because of the military coup but also because of the events that surrounded me during it. I had decided during that vacation to start reading, so I borrowed a book from my friend Ahmed Weld Salk. However, my laziness prevented me from reading more than a couple of pages, and instead, I spent most of the day playing football, a sport I wasn't particularly good at, as we had no other plans at the time. Despite my lack of skill, I managed to score a goal for my team, beat the other team, and win the cup, which was a can of concentrated milk. We celebrated by taking turns sipping the drops of "Gloria"-the "sweetness" of our victory.

May I ask what category of complex villains does Hans Landa fall into? Noble? Pitiable? Well-meaning? Or maybe he's straight up one-dimensional? Joker from Dark Knight - is he one-dimensional as well? Because I'm pretty sure he does not belong to any of aforementioned categories. I'm not an expert but it seems to me that there are lots of villains out there who are outright evil but are still quite complex nevertheless. Dunno, maybe it's just me.

I think the only person to really pull off the every chapter a different perspective is GRRM. While I enjoy it while reading… it’s also a bit frustrating because some important parts of the narrative are left up to being described secondary by another character and you don’t get to see it.
